Reconciliation Action Plan
Our Vision for Reconciliation is that the First Australians will enjoy the same opportunities and quality of life that all Australians expect. As the First Australians, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have a significant place in the past, present and future of Australia. We respect, recognise and value the culture and heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and learn from their wisdom through the reconciliation process.
blueVisions will continue to enhance relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, ensuring the diverse needs of the Australian community are represented. This will ultimately enable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to support and share in the benefits of competitive, profitable, secure and industry leading consulting.Through the attraction, recruitment and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, blueVisions will be able to draw on the varying perspectives, experience and knowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Australians can contribute.
This is reflected in our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) which represents an overarching commitment to “Closing the Gap” through a range of company-wide activities that are guided by BlueVisions RAP and supported by dedicated resources and practical policies.

The development of this Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has involved considered consultations with Aboriginal and Torres Islander peoples, senior Executives, employees and key stakeholder groups. Our RAP demonstrates our organisations ongoing commitment to maintaining and building respectful and resilient partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The initiatives and programs outlined in the document will guide and support blueVisions towards embedding and promoting our commitments to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples into our organisation and our community.
Through blueVisions’ Indigenous initiatives, building community cultural awareness/respect and partnerships are key aspects to implementing and driving Indigenous policy and reconciliation. We are focused on ensuring a greater cultural understanding and exchange for all our employees and we are driven towards targeting large sectors of our business activities through programs aimed at increasing visibility of Indigenous culture in blueVisions. We strive to showcase Indigenous cultures and talents and uphold our pride as one of the great multicultural employees both in Australia and abroad.
Building on these successes and working to improve additional areas, the focus of this RAP is on good relationships, respecting the special contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders; and working together to ensure Indigenous children have the same life opportunities as other children in this prosperous country. These areas—relationships, respect and opportunities—are considered over the following pages in light of the industry leading work of blueVisions.
This RAP was developed by the Chairperson of the Indigenous Working Group (IWG) in consultation with Executive Managers and Directors. The RAP was endorsed by the Indigenous Working Group, which represents a cross section of the organisation, including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
